Whilst larger centres of population will also support visible expressions of other faiths - temples, mosques and synagogues - this is not yet a possibility in Cornwall.
However, there are plenty of opportunities for collective and formal religious practice in Cornwall, if not in Falmouth and Penryn. Nationally there are student bodies representing the major faith traditions which may be able to offer support.
The best way to access the main Churches in the Falmouth area would be through the Falmouth Churches Together website and choose member churches from the menu. There are of course many other churches and expressions of the Christian faith not represented here.
In all instances, the Chaplaincy, part of the Accommodation and Welfare Service, would love to hear from you, support you with your particular faith and just be available to talk about spiritual matters generally. The chaplain - the Reverend Rose Westwood - is an ordained Christian minister, but will endeavour to put you in contact with any faith group in the area. Alternatively, it may be possible to form a student society to meet with other like minded people from your own tradition, including accredited ministers and faith leaders where available.
